Our team secured suspension of an order issued by the Mayor of Timișoara temporarily closing a hospitality venue following regulatory penalties for alleged repeated disturbance of public peace. Although the offence reports had been challenged, the authority imposed a highly intrusive measure with immediate and significant economic consequences for the business.
Speed was a decisive element. We requested urgent determination, and the Timiș Tribunal decided the application within just six days. It was filed on 5 December 2025, and on 11 December 2025 the court issued an enforceable decision allowing the business to reopen immediately.
We welcome the Timiș Tribunal's prompt response to a disproportionate administrative measure that threatened serious harm to a hospitality business. The outcome highlights the importance of immediate legal action when local authorities impose excessive measures.
